you will be amazed by the endless possibilities for your event.
Civil Ceremony
According to Italian law, civil ceremonies must take place on local council soils and are conducted by a Council officer, the equivalent of the Registrar. What may sound as a restriction compared to what happens in other countries gives you instaed access to hundreds of historical buildings, museums, castles and roof terraces. Recently private Villas and Castles have been accounted in this number and every season we have more options to propose to our clients.
Please note that in Italy there is no legal requirement to be in the country before the wedding. In some occasion you will be required to visit the Registrar office for a declaration a couple of days before the civil ceremony.
Religious Ceremony
Roman Catholic religious ceremonies are recognised under Italian Law as legal binding and consequently by any country’s recognised by the Italian government.
There is no need for any additional ceremonies or paperwork. Please note that Catholic ceremonies are allowed when at least one of the spouses is Catholic.
Non-catholic religious ceremonies are also possible, i.e. Jewish or Orthodox, Evangelical or Episcopalian etc, however not all of them will have legal value.
Hindu Ceremony
In the last couple of years we have been asked to organise Hindu ceremonies for Indian or mixed couples.
We have acquired a well rounded expertise in these type of ceremonies and we have enjoyed so much arranging these events that we are keen to get on board more Indian weddings every season.
We can assist you in setting up the Mandap, putting you in touch with the right Celebrant, including Indian Pandit. Additionally we can cater Indian delicatessen for your event in Rome and Tuscany and help you blending your culture and tradition in the Italian backdrop.
Symbolic Ceremony
They can take place almost anywhere and can be officiated in your mother tongue. You are welcome to bring along your own celebrant or we are happy to find you the right one.
Symbolic ceremonies will have no official value and you will have to arrange your legal paperwork at home before travelling.

We will be delighted to welcome your symbolic ceremony! Unfortunately civil partnership is still being discussed by our parliament and may face a long journey before being approved.
